On Chithra Pournami this year (Vijaya Varusha) (April 25, 2013), Gajendra Moksham was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Venkateswara Thirukkoil, R.K. Puram, New Delhi. The act of Perumal granting moksham to Gajendran was symbolically performed in the evening. Sri Srinivasar (utsavar) on Garudazhwar showered His anugraham on Gajendran (in the koil prakaram) during the purapaddu.
