Sri KondandaRama Swamy Annual Brahmostvam at Tirupati Concluded

Annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple which has began on 11th march 2013 , will conclude  today with dwaja avarohonam in evening. The important event of the last day of brahmostavam, thirumanjanam and chakrasnanam was celebrated on today morning in the presence of HH Sri periya Tirumala jeeyar swamy and HH Sri Chinna Tirumala jeeyar swamy.

Earlier on 15th march 2013, Processional deity of Lord Rama is taken out in a Pallaki Utsavam and Garuda vahanam around four mada streets in Tirupati in connection with 5th day of  Annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple on Friday morning and evening respectively.

 

 

 

On the 6th day of  Annual Brahmotsavam Lord SriRama is taken out in procession on Hanumantha vahanam and Gaja vahanam around four streets on Saturday, 16th march 2013 morning and evening respectively.

 

 

On the 7th day of  Annual Brahmotsavam Processional deity of Lord Sri Rama is taken out in procession on Suryaprabha and Chadraprabha vahanams around four mada streets on 17th march 2013, Sunday morning and evening respectively.

 

 

 

 

Thousands of devotees dragged the huge flower-bedecked wooden chariot carrying deities of Lord Kodanda Rama , His consort Sita devi and Sri Lakshmana around the temple during `Rathothsavam‘ (chariot festival) on 18th march 2013, Monday morning as part of the Brahmotsavam.

 

 

 

Today morning Thirumanjanam was first performed to the utsava moorthies of  Sri rama, Sita devi , Sri Lakshmana and Sri Chakratazhwar. Later Sri Chakrathazhwar is taken to dip for chakrasnanam in the pushkarani near the temple.
