About the Temple

Sri Vaikunda Nathan Perumal temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is one among the 108 Divya desams. It is located in Thirunangur, a small village 10 km away from Sirkhazhi enroute to Thiruvenkadu. The temple complex has two prakarams. The sanctum here is believed to be on par with celestial vaikuntam. The temple tank is located north of the temple.

To attain Vaikunda is to attain life without rebirth, and the perumal of this kshetram would bless one if we offer our true self.
