On February 11, 2012, Koorathazhwan Thirunakshatram was celebrated at Sri Parthasarathy Koil, Thiruvallikeni. Purapaddu of Swami Koorathazhwan and Parthasarathy perumal along with ubhaya nachiyars took place in the evening.
