Sri U.Ve. D.Rajagopalachariar swami, who is to adorn the Acharya Peetam of Poundarikapuram Srimad Andavan Ashramam on 30th January, 2012, visited Thiruppullani today to have a Holy Dip at Sri Adhi Sethu before Ashrama Sweekaram.
In the morning after Sri Sethu Snaanam, he did mangalasasanam at Sri Adhi Jagannatha Perumal Temple and at Sri Hayagreeva — Sri Vedanta Desikan Sannidhi of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam. He was honoured at Sri Adhi Jagannatha Perumal Temple and at Srimad Andavan Ashrama Desikan Sannidhi. Swamy honoured all the temple staff with suitable sambhavanai.
On the niyamanam of Srimad Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Maha Desikan (Srimushnam), kainkaryaparals of Thiruppullani Ashramam (where Sri D.R. swami stayed) extended their full cooperation for Swami and those accompanied Sri D.R Swami. Sri D.R Swami left for Srirangam in the evening.
