On 15/02/2018, Thursday, Ahobila Mutt’s 46th pontiff, Srimad Azagiyasingar Sri Ranganatha Yatindra Maha Desikan offered his mangalasasanams to Sri Alermelmangai Nayaka sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal ans Swami Vedanta Desikan. As part of Swami Desikan’s 750th thirunakshatra mahotsavam, Visesha tiruveedhi purapadu to Desika Bhavanam took place. Srimad Azagiyasingar started from Thiruevvul and reached Desika Bhavanam and stayed up till 4:30 PM. Lots of astikas took part in the mahotsavam and received the blessings of Srimad Azagiyasingar, Swami vedanta Desikan and Sri Alermelmangai Nayaka Sametha Sri Srinivas Perumal.
