On August 4, 2018 (Vilambi Aadi Aswini), Thiruvaadipoora utsavam of Sri Andal in Sri Madhava Perumal Temple, Mylapore commenced in a grand manner. In the evening, Sri Andal had an auspicious alankaram in a lavish peach with violet border vasthram.
On Day 2 evening, which was held on August 5 2018(Aadi-Bharani), Thayar wore a peach with blue border vasthram and adorned jasmnine and rose garlands. Several asthikas participated and received the blessings of Andal.
