On 4th June 2018 (Srivilambi Vaikasi Thiruvonam), Vaikasi Sravanam purappadu took place in Sri Desika Sabha, Mumbai. On that day Perumal wore white silk vathram with red border and was decorated beautifully with kaasu malai, green color pendant, pearl fixed crown and flower garlands of jasmine, rose, thulasi. After alankaram, Perumal ascended on yaali vaahanam. Swami Desikan also had a great alankaram. Many devotees participated in the Vaikasi Sravanam and received the blessings of Perumal and Acharya.
