On 27nth March 2018 (Hevilambi Varusha Panguni Poosam), the Vasantha Utsavam was commenced grandly in Thiruvahindapuram Temple, Nellikuppam. Goddess Vaikunta Naayaki- Hemambhujavalli Thayar wore green color saree and Perumal wore green color vasthram. Thayar was decorated beautifully with abharanams and flower filled crown. She also had Kaasu malai and several ornaments with pendants. In the evening Perumal and Thayar had purappadu. The 2nd day was celebrated on 28th March 2018 (Hevilambi Varusha Panguni Aayilyam). On this occasion Thayar wore dark green color saree and had abhranams. She was adorned with jasmines followed by a thick garland of several flowers then Thayar had purappadu within the temple. Several astikas participated in the Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Hemambhujavalli Thayar.
