On February 9, 2018, Hevilambi varusha fourth Thai Velli, being Anusham; Sri Abhishekavalli Thayar purappadu took place in grand manner at Sri Bhakthavatsala Perumal Temple, Thirukkannamangai Divya Desam. Being Thai Vellikizhamai (Friday), around 11 a.m, vishesha Thirumanjanam for Thayar was conducted and later in the evening 6.30 p.m ul prakara purappadu took place inside the temple premises. Several astikas took part in the purappadu and had blessings of Thayar and Perumal.
