On 26/01/2018, Friday , i.e on Republic Day. Visesha thiruveedhi purapadu for Triplicane Sri Ahobila Mutt Swami Desikan as part of Swami Desikan’s 750th Avatara Mahotsavam. The purapadu is scheduled to take place at 08:30 AM with sthotrapaada Goshti and Ubhaya Veda goshti. We all are aware that Swami Desikan in the form of Gantavataram ( Bell ) is present at Mylapore Sri Vedanta Desikar Devastanam. That gantavataram has  traveled across the length and breadth of India during Swami’s 700th Avatara Mahotsavam. After 50 years the Ghantai from Mylapore is taken to Triplicane Ahobila Mutt on 26th january. Triplicane Ahobila mutt Swami Desikan and Ghantai from Mylapore will have grand purapadu. Astikas are requested to attend this mahotsavam and receive the blessings of our aacharya vallal Swami Desikan.
