With the benign grace of the Divya Dampathis and the blessings of HH Srimad Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan, the eighth annual Pavithrotsavam commenced on August 31, 2017 at Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir, New Delhi.
On the first day morning, thirumanjanam was performed to the utsavar along with the ubhaya nachiyars. In the evening, Ankurarpanam and Soma Kumba sthapanam took place along with vedam and prabhanda parayanam.
On the second day, pavithra samarpanam to the divyamangala vigrahams at the thirukkoil, poornahuti, sathumurai and ghoshti took place. In the evening, homam, poornahuti, sathurmurai and ghoshti took place. Similar utsavams took place today morning (September 2, 2017 – being the third day of the Pavitrotsavam).
