The monthly Kalyanotsavam at the Sri Kodanda Rama Temple was held on July 5th 2016 on the ocassion of the Punarvasu nakshatram, the birth star of Lord Rama.

The Kalyanam was performed in the morning from 11 am amidst chanting of vedic hymns by the temple priests and the participant couple were presented with uttariyam, blouse peice, anna prasadam. Later in the evening the utsava deities of Sri Rama, Sita and Lakshman along with Anjaneyar was taken out in a procession on the mada streets of the temple at 5.30 pm and further accorded Unjal seva at the near by Sriramachandra Pushkarini.

  1. Blessed to see this. Kindly note that from 5th photo onward the deities are at Tirumala. There is Sita, Rama, Lakshmana and Hanumar at Tirumala too who will be taken out for procession on Punarvasu after performing Unjal for them. The first 4 photos correspond to Rama at Tirupati.
