Ekadasi Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Thiruvallur Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple. On June 30th 2016, in the evening around 5.30 pm Sri Perumal with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram followed by Maada Veethi Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many devotees participated in the Aani Ekadasi Purappadu and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
Thiruvallur Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple is one among the 108 Divya desa temples. The Moolavar of the temple is Sri Vaidhya Veeraraghava Perumal and Thayar is Kanakavalli Thayar. This temple is under the administration of Sri Ahobila Math, presently presided over by Srimad 46th Azhagiyasingar Srimate Srivan Sathakopa Sri Ranganatha Yatheentra Mahadesikan, as Hereditary Trustee.
