The three-day annual Jeshtabhishekam, off to a religious start in the Tirumala temple on June 17th 2016. After performing Mahashanti Homam, the Satakalasa Tirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities of Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sri Devi and Bhu Devi in the Sampangi Prakaram between 8am to 11am. Later Visesha Vajra Kavacha Samarpana was performed to the deities and after Sahasra Kalasabhishekam, the Lord was taken around in a procession in four mada streets and blessed devotees in the dazzling Vajra Kavacham.
