Dwaja Avarohanam was performed at Kumbakonam Ramaswamy Temple. On February 24th 2016, in the morning Sri Perumal had beautiful alangaram and Dwaja Avarohanam was performed. During Dwaja avarohanam the garudan flag that was hoisted on the first day of the Brahmotsavam is lowered. The lowered flag is placed on Perumal’s Thiruvadi. Grand satrumurai and and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many Bakthas participated in the Utsavam and received the blessings of Sri Perumal.
