The Parthasarathy Temple is an 8th century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, located at Triplicane, Chennai. It is one among the 108 divyadesams or holy abodes of Lord Vishnu. Lord Krishna is worshipped in the name ‘Parthasarathy’ in this temple, which means in Sanskrit, ‘charioteer of Arjuna’. Irapathu of Thiruadhyayana Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple, Thiruvallikeni Divyadesam. On December 24th 2015, in the evening Sri Parthasarathy Perumal along with His Consorts had Thiruveethi Purappadu along with Sri Namazhwar and Sri Anjaneyar. Thousands of devotees thronged to have dharshan of Divyadampathis and Sri Namazhwar and Sri Anjaneyar and received the blessings.
