Vaikunda Ekadasi, the most holy day of supreme significance for all Sri Vaishnavaites, was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Thillaisthanam. On December 21st 2015, Sri Srinivasa Perumal along with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram and entered through paramapada vasal and blessed the devotees followed by Purappadu. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis. The Vaikunta Ekadasi festival is an occasion when the Paramapada vaasal is opened for devotees. Paramapada Vasal, colloquially known as Sorga vaasal is the Gateway to Heaven.
