Thiruadhyayana Utsavam commenced with Pagal Pathu in a grand manner at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple, Thiruvallur Divyadesam. On December 14th 2015, being Day 4 Utsavam, Sri Perumal had beautiful alangaram along with His Consorts and Azhwars followed by Ul Purappadu. On the Day 5 Utsavam, Sri Perumal and Ubhaya Nachiyars along with Swami Desikan had Ul Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Azhwars. Located about 50kms from Madras on the Madras-Arakkonam rail route is Veera Raghava Perumal koil in Thiru Evvalur (now Thiruvellur).
