On November 10th 2015, Deepavali celebration took place at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Thillaisthanam. On this occasion, in the evening Sri Srinivasa Perumal had beautiful alangaram in Garuda Sevai followed by Purappadu. Many devotees participated and received the blessings of Perumal. “Thillaisthanam – originally known as Thirunai thanam” is a beautiful agraharam situated near the bank of Kaveri river 1km from Thiruvaiyyaru, Kumbakonam thaluk. Here alights the temple of Sri Alermelmanga Sametha Sri Srinivasa perumal, a very ancient temple where our great scholars like Thillaisthanam swamy and many others have worshipped the lord and immersed in his beauty!
