The Manmadha Varusha Navaratri Utsavam was celebrated grandly for 10 days at Sri Devarajaswami Temple at Kanchipuram. On Vijayadasami day (October 23, 2015), Around 5.30 p.m Sri Devaperumal from kannadi arai goes to Vahana Mandapam. Adround 6.00 p.m Sri Devaperumal comes out in Kudirai Vahanam wearing the white robe blessed the devotees during maada veedhi purappadi. In parvettai utsavam, Sri Devaperumal rode the Aswa very faster and came back to temple around 7.00 p.m after circumbulation of Maada veedhis. Inside the temple premises near by the vanni tree “Ambu Poduthal” utsavam was potrayed. The Utsavam was celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation by devotees. Lot of astikas had darshan of Sri Devaperumal in Kudhirai vahanam on Vijayadasami during Parvetti Utsavam.
