On July 24th, 2015; Manmatha Varusha Aadi Chitirai, Aadi Vellikizhamai was celebrated in a grand manner at Therazhundur Sri Amaruviyappan Perumal Temple. On this occasion in the evening Sri Senkamalavali Thayar had Oonjal sevai and Ul purappadu in the Kedayam. Many devotees participated in the Aadi Vellikizhamai purappadu and received the blessings of Divya Dampathis.
