As part of the Ongoing Brahmotsavam at Thiruvellarai Divyadesam,On 7th April 2015; Sri Pundarikaksha Perumal with his consort reached Vada Thirukaveri (Kollidam) in the early morning. In the early hours around 1.00 A.M Perumal and Thayar started from thiruvellarai in two different pallaku towards Vada Thirukaveri. Its around 15 kms to Srirangam, Lot of Sripadam Thangigal, Kaingaryaparas carry the palanquin. The Divyadampatis got lot of ubhayams from the nearby villages on the way . Lot of villagers welcomed the divydampatis in the very early morning hours. It was a big event as many bhattars, Paricharakas, Kaingaryaparas from Srirangam, Uraiyur, Anbil, Koviladi all joined in the Perumal Purappadu to Vada Thirukaveri. The divyadampatis reached around 9.00 a.m in the morning at Vada Thirukaveri , followed by Perumal and Thayar asthanam in serthi. Lot of astikas nearby srirangam had Beautiful darshan and Blessings of Divyadampatis.
