Today, January 1, 2015; Jaya Varusha Margazhi Bharani, Vaikunta Ekadasi was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir and Sri Venkateshwara Mandir, New Delhi.
At Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir, the Vaikunta VasalĀ opened at around 5.55 am on this chilly winter day. Sri Ranganathar (utsavar) adorning the Vairamudi kireetam blessed all the Bhaktas on Garudazhwar as He proceeded swiftly through the Vaikunta Vasal. Several devotees assembled in large numbers both inside and outside the vasal to witness the auspicious event. On this day, Moolavar, Sri Vaikuntanathar along with his ubhaya nachiyars, Sri Ranganayaki nachiyar and Andal nachiyar gave muthangi sevai to the Bhaktas. Another special feature this year was the Netra darsanam by Moolavar Sri Vaikuntanathar.
At Sri Venkateswara Mandir, Sri Srinivasar (utsavar) in beautiful alankaram had veedhi purappadu on Garuda vahanam in and around the area at around 9 am. On returning, Perumal gave darsanam on Garudazhwar in the sannidhi to Bhaktas who had archana sevai. Thereafter, Thirumanjanam took place for the utsavar. Here also, Moolavar, Sri Venkateswara, gave darsanam in beautiful muthangi vastram. Sri Padmavathi Thayar, both Moolavar and Utsavar, had also adorned muthangi vastram.

I stay in Vasant Kunj. My wife & I started visiting this Mandir in Jan’20, and feel in love. The reason is simple ‘Tranquility’. It is located in an atmosphere of tranquility. Must visit. Please visit with Faith, Devotion, and Respect.
