On 28 April 2014, Jaya Varusha Chithirai Revathi, Thiruavathara Utsavam took place in grand manner at Sri Deepaprakasar Perumal Temple, Thiruthanka. In the morning Purappadu of Sri Deepaprakasar with his concerts in pallakku followed by Swami Desikan in Maada Veedhi of Kanchipuram. Lot of Astikas took part in the Purappadu and had the Blessings of Acharya and Perumal.
