About the Temple:
Mukundagiri, a small village, bounding with natural beauty of fields and scenic greenery, set about 10 kms from Madhurantakam in Tamil Nadu. The village houses the sacred and ancient temple dedicated to Lord Srinivasa Perumal. Lord Srinivasa Temple in this village represents the only place for worship for the local residents. The Moolavar has about 400 years of history and was discovered in the famous Madhurantakam Lake. The Temple had been a part of everyday life of the local community and offered a place for locals to seek some serenity and peace of mind.
