Aani Sravana Utsavam will be performed on 26th June 2013 (Wednesday) at Sri Rajalakshmi Thayar sametha Sri Rajanarayana Perumal Temple, Venkatadhri Agaram.
Adored as one of the Panchanaraya Kshethrams, the temple is located at Venkatadhri Agaram village, near the northern banks of the sacred river South Pennaiyar and 10 km from Villupuram. This village is situated between the famous Nadunaattu Divyadesams – Thiruvahindrapuram and Thirukkovilur. Thiruvonam star in Tamil month Aani is the “Avathaara Thirunakshathram” of Sri Rajanarayana Perumal. To increase the pristine glory of the temple, Vaishnavite events like Navarathri festival, monthly sravana thirumanjanam, especially Aani Garuda sevai and Thirumanjana utsavam is being celebrated every year in the temple. The Thirumanjanam will be held in the afternoon for Sri Rajanaryana Perumal, Sri Rajalakshmi Thayaar, Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar & Swami Desikan. Devotees are requested to participate in this auspicious event and receive the blessings of “Dhivya Dhampathi”.
