Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Visits Sri Ahobila Mutt

Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa visited Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam on Thursday (May 30, 2013) afternoon. She was received with temple honours by the priests at Ranga Ranga Gopuram. She went in a battery car to Aryabhatta Vaasal. Then she walked up to Garudaazhvar Sannidhi where she offered prayers. She also offered prayers at Dwajasthambam. She went to Moolavar sannidhi and offered prayers. She proceeded to Udayavar sannidhi and offered her prayers there. After exiting the temple from the vella gopuram, she proceeded to Sri Ahobila Mutt via Melur Road.

She was at the matam between 5:45 pm and 6:15 pm.

She also visited the Brindavans of 41st, 44th and 45th Azhagiyasingars of the mutt and offered floral tributes.
