On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya (Chitrai Month-valarpirai-சித்திரை மாதம் வளர்பிறை, 3வது திதி), 14 Garuda sevai was conducted at Kumbakonam. All the 14 perumal was taken in procession on garuda vahanam via TSR Street, Big Street.The following 14 perumal blessed the devotees from Gardua Vahanam. Hanuman, Thirumangai azhwar, Namazhwar and Thrirumazhisaiazhwar was also present during this utsavam.
Thousands of devotees attended this utsavam and had the blessings of perumal.

கும்பகோணம் : அட்சய திருதியை யொட்டி, கும்பகோணத்தில், ஒரே இடத்தில், 14 கருட சேவைகள் கோலாகலமாக நடந்தன. சித்திரை மாதம் வளர்பிறை, 3வது திதியான அட்சய திருதியை தினத்தில், கும்பகோணத்தில் உள்ள, 14 வைணவ கோவில்களிலிருந்து, 14 கருட வாகனங்களில், உற்சவ பெருமாள் சுவாமிகள் டி.எஸ்.ஆர்., பெரியதெருவில், எழுந்தருளுவர். அட்சய திருதியை நாளான நேற்று, கும்பகோணம் டி.எஸ்.ஆர்., பெரிய தெரிவில் காசுக்கடை வர்த்தகர் சங்கம் சார்பில் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த அலங்காரப் பந்தலில் சாரங்கபாணி, சக்கரபாணி, ராமஸ்வாமி, ராஜகோபாலஸ்வாமி, ஆதிவராகபெருமாள், அகோபிலமடம் லெட்சுமி நரசிம்ம பெருமாள், சீனிவாசபெருமாள், நவநீதகிருஷ்ணன், வேணுகோபாலஸ்வாமி, வரதராஜபெருமாள், பட்டாச்சாரியார் தெரு நவநீதகிருஷ்ணன், சோலையப்பன் தெரு ராமஸ்வாமி, பிர்மன்கோவில் தெரு வரதராஜபெருமாள், வேதநாராயணபெருமாள் ஆகிய, 14 கோவில்களிருந்து உற்சவ பெருமாள்கள் கருட வாகனத்திலும், இந்த ஸ்வாமிகளுக்கு நேர் எதிரே ஆஞ்சநேயர் ஸ்வாமியும் எழுந்தருளினர். முன்னதாக, திருமங்கையாழ்வார், நம்மாழ்வார், திருமழிசையாழ்வார் ஆகிய ஆழ்வார்கள் உற்சவ பெருமாள்களுக்கு முன், எழுந்தருளியவுடன், பட்டாச்சாரியார்கள் மங்களா சாசனம் பாடினர். திரளான பக்தர்கள், இதில் கலந்து கொண்டு, சுவாமி தரிசனம் செய்தனர்.

Excellent Pictures. If the camera is positioned directly in front of the deity and if the camera is positioned at the same height as that of the deity; then the pictures will be much more effective.
The photographers are doing an excellent job.
However, please treat this as a suggestion.

I have worshipped some few years ago the 14 Garuda Sevai at Kumbakonam and I was happy that Sri Sarangapani swamy and other perumals blessings I got.Though a native of Kumbakonam I really feel our Perumalin anugraham.I pray to him to have darsanam every year.
