I. Thiruppavai Discourses

1. Sri U.Ve.E.S.Mukundan Swami has been delivering upanyasams on the occasion of Dhanur masam from 15-12-12 at Sri Ahobila Mutt, Hyderabad. Devotees are enjoying the spiritual darshan of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha in this auspicious month of Dhanur Masam and listening to the Thiruppavai Discourses delivered by Sri U.Ve.E.S.Mukundan Swami.Large number of devotees thronged the Mutt for having the glimpse of  Lord Lakshmi Narasimha on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Vaikunta Dwadasi on 24-12-12 and 25-12-12 respectively.The devotees expressed their happiness on learning many spiritual things and the meaning of the divine Thiruppavai poems written by Sri Andal, from the discourse of Sri U.Ve.E.S.Mukundan Swami. The Discourse will continue till 13-1-13 the last day of this auspicious month Dhanur Masam.1.b. Sri Oragadum K Lakshmi Narasimhar Swami has been delivering disourses on the divine Thiruppavai poem sung by Sri Andal felicitating occasion of Dhanur Masam.Devotees from the twin cities have attended in large numbers for these divine renderings. These upanyasams would ontinue till 13-1-13 the last day of this auspicious month Dhanur Masam.A procession of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha of  Sri akshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple , Nalabazar, took place from Nalabazar  to Keys girls High School, Sec’bad on 24-12-12 marking Vaikunta Ekadasi.

 

II . Competitions conducted by Sri Dhesika Sabha (Regd) on the occasion of the 45th Thiruppavai Celebrations. 30-12-12 from 09:00amSri Dhesika Sabha, Hyderabad (Regd) is conducting competitions in

 

  a.    Recitation of Thiruppavai, [LKG to I Std – First 5 Paasurams],[2nd to 4th First 10 Paasurams],[5th to 7th First 20 Paasurams ]
[8th to 10th and above All 30 Paaasurams]
a.a  Recitation of Vaaranam Aayiram.
c.Recitation of any Swami Dhesikan Stotram (General Category)
d.Recitation of Hayagreeva Stotram (Special category)
e. Quiz on Swami Dhesika Charitram.
