With the benign grace of the Divya Dampathis and the blessings of HH Srimad Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan, the third annual Pavithrotsavam commenced yesterday (August 24, 2012) at Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir. In the morning, thirumanjanam was performed to the utsavar along with the ubhaya nachiyars. In the evening, Ankurarpanam and Soma Kumba sthapanam took place along with vedam and prabhanda parayanam. Today morning (August 25), pavithra samarpanam to the divyamangala vigrahams at the thirukkoil, poornahuti, sathumurai and ghoshti took place. In the evening, homam, poornahuti, sathurmurai and ghoshti took place (photographs updated below).
