Sri Vedanta Desika Sampradaya Sabha (SVDSS), Matunga, Mumbai are conducting their Annual Utsavam, ” Acharya Jayanthi ” and Swami Desikan Thirunakshtra Mahotsavam this year from September 17 to 26, 2012.
The following is the utsava pathrikai…
Coinciding the utsavam, Vanamahotsavam of Sri Ahobila Mutt, Chembur, Mumbai, Sri Prahaladavaradan with His concerts, along with Swami desikan from this Temple is organised at the sabha on, Sunday, September 23, 2012. The Perumals will be received at 8 am at sabha premises and Devotees can have Darshan till 4 pm.
Thirumanjanam to Perumals is also organised on this occasion and at around 12.30 pm,Theertham, Satarai & Goshti will take place.
Programme on all other days are;
- 3.00 pm Sevakalam (On September 26th, from 2 pm );
- 6.30 pm Satrumurai
- 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm: Upanyasam daily by Sri.U.Ve.Dushyant Sridhar on Swami Desikan’s Sankalpa Sooryodhayam
- 8.30 pm Goshti
Devotees may support the effort of the sabha in organising this 10 day utsavam – One day Ubhayam is Rs.2000 & Donation to Utsavam corpus is Rs.10,000. All are welcome to attend the utsavam and join in Sevakalam /Upanyasam programmes.
