Jyestabhishekam is conduced once a year in almost all Divya Desams. Last week the 6th of July Jyestabhishekam for devaperumal has been conducted. Jyestabhishekam is the process of celestial bath/abhishekams with various vastus after removing the golden armours covering the archa murthis of the lord.
This year Jyestabhishekam for Perundevi Thayar at Kanchi Varadharaja Perumal Temple is scheduled to take place on the 13th of July 2012 (aani 29th, Friday). Astikaas are requested to take part in this yearly event and have the blessings of Perundevi Thayar
