Pudukkottai Sri Varadaraja Perumal Koil Event held on 24th June,2012: A group of dedicated devotees celebrated the completion of Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam continuosly once evry Sunday afternoon, for 108 weeks. This is a Temple with Moolavar as Sri Srinivasa Permal and Uthsavar as Sri Varadaraja Perumal. Same way Thaayar Moolavar as Sri Alarmelmangai Thaayaar and uthsavar as Sri Perundevi Thaayaar. There is Chakrathazhwar Sannathi, and Uthsavar with Sri Vijayavalli Thaayaar. There is an Anjaneyar Sannathi with Moolavar and Uthsavar. Azhwar and Acharyan sannathi with Swamy Desikan is also there in a small way.
Last Samprokshanam was performed in 2001 , with the blessings of His Holiness Srimath andavan The locals are getting busy for the arrangements for the next one. This is being planned after complete renovation of the Temple. This is a very popular Temple situated in East 3rd street and all uthsavams are held , including annual Brahmothsavam.
