By the divine grace of Alwars and Acharyas and other Bhagavathas, it is proposed to organise Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar Temple at Siddhashramam, Vedagiri (Narasimha Konda), Devara Palem of Nellore Rural in SPSR Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh on Nandana Varsham Chittirai Ashtami: 14th, Chittirai Navami: 15th and Chittirai Dasami: 16th of April, 2012.
About the temple:
This temple is located in the Nellore town of Andhra Pradesh which is on the border of Tamizh Nadu. The temple is constructed as per the Pancharatra Agama. The temple is located at the foot of the Vedagiri ( Narasimha Konda ). This Narasimha Konda is swayamvyakta kshetra and is about 15 kms from the Nellore Town. The temple houses the following deities:
Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar:
Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar is the main deity. Till now, Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar graced the world from Tiruvaheendra Puram Divya Desam. From now onwards, HE likes to grace the world from this Siddhashramam of Nellore.
Sri Sudarsana Garudar:
As Sri Vaishnavas, we all know the prowess of Sri Sudarsana Bhagavan. He is the main person ( purushakaram ) in the process of atmasamarpanam or bhara samarpanam of a Sri Vaishnava.
Similarly, we all know the greatness of Periya Tiruvadi, Sri Garuda Bhagavan. He is vedatma. Our Supreme Lord Sriya: pati rides on him, whenever he wishes to visit to this leela vibhuti to protect his devotees. “ Dasa: sakhaa: vaahanam . “ says Our Paramaacharyar, Sri Alawandar. Except, Garuda no other deity has got the sub title Bhagavan. In Srimad Bhagavatha Maha Puranam, he is glorified as “Garudo bhagavan stotra stoma chandOmaya : prabhu: “. He is the mirror for Our Supreme Lord. Does the image that appears in the mirror, differs from the original one ? Never.
Here in this temple, Sri Sudarshana Bhagavan combines with Sri Garuda Bhagavan. So, Our Sudarshana Bhagavan is capable of granting even Santana bhagyam to childless couples, with the assistance of Garuda Bhagavan, duly canceling sarpa doshams and naga doshams. This form of Sudarsana – Garuda is a very powerful and awesome one. It truly bestows all the wishes of a sincere devotee. A rare structure. Also termed as a tantric one.
Sri Yoga Anjaneyar:
Sri Yoga Anjaneyar is also present in this temple to protect the devotees from witch craft and other tantric prayogams
