Today (March 8, 2012) Kalyana Utsavam of Sri Ranganayaki and Sri Ranganathar (utsavar) took place at Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir, Ber Sarai, New Delhi. The utsavam is part of a series of Kalyana Utsavams being conducted annually by all devotees since 1981 in New Delhi temples.

The next Kalayna Utsavam for this year is scheduled to take place at Sri Venkateswara Mandir, RK Puram, New Delhi on April 5, 2012 (Panguni Uttiram).

About the temple

Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir at Sri Vedanta Desika Marg in Ber Sarai, New Delhi was established on Uttaratadi, Karthigai in 1972 by Srimad Thirukkudanthai Andavan (the then pontiff of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam). Moolavar is Sri Vaikuntanathar, Utsavar Sri Ranganathar and Thayar Sri Ranganayaki. Andal nachiyar is also present in the main sannidhi. In September 2011, sthapanam of LakshmiHayagreevar murthi took place during the Pavitrotsavam. Separate sannidhis are present for Anjaneyar and Chakrathalzhwar and SriNarasimhan (yoga).
