Sri. U.Ve Karunanakarachar Swamy is well-known for his very captivating Upanyasams over the last four decades and his brief discourses in recent times on Vijay TV. However, the recordings of his Upanyasams are rarely available.
Now, with an effort to generate funds for the ASTA trust, he has given his kind permission to bring out some of his Upanyasams in the form of audio CD / DVD. The ASTA trust has been instituted to sustain Kainkaryams for Sri. Aravamuadazhwan, Thirukukudanthai.
The “Yaksha Prashnam” – in Tamil – is in the form of a DVD and “Tat Tvam Asi” – in English – is in the form of a CD. The CD and DVD are available in Chennai and can be collected either in person or through a courier service. Both the Upanyasams are extremely interesting and useful. In these Upanyasams on rare topics, Sri. U.Ve Karunanakaran Swamy – in his inimitable style – has combined Cricket with the Cosmic and also interspersed them with humorous anecdotes to make it easy and gripping for the listener.
Suggested sambhavanai for the CD / DVD is Rs.100/-. Courier charges will be extra and will depend on the destination. The approximate courier charges are :
Within Chennai : Rs.12/- per CD / DVD. Within Tamilnadu : Rs.30/- per CD / DVD . Within South India, other than Tamilnadu : Rs.35/- per CD / DVD. Rest of India Metros : Rs.45/- per CD/DVD. Rest of India Non-metros : Rs. 55/- per CD / DVD. These are costs for sending single units. The courier cost per CD / DVD whilst sending multiple numbers will be less.
