Thiru Pallandu, Aruli Cheyal of 4 Alwars – Thirumazhisai Alwar, Thondaradi Podi Alwar, Thirupanalwar and Madhurakavi Alwar – Last 2 pasurams of Alwars for Sathumurai

A day in which the experience of 4 azhwars through their 5 Prabandhams are being enjoyed- (196 pasurams) –

  •  Tiruchanda Virutham (120)   : 752-871
  • Thirumalai                  (45)    : 872-916
  • Thirupallezhucchi       (10)    : 917-926
  • Amalanaadipiran         (10)    : 927-936
  • KanninunsiruthAmbu  (11)    : 937-947

Thirumazhisai Alwar says with authority the supremacy of Sriman Narayanan, after trying many other faiths.  His Thirucchanda Viruttham is musical too. Tondaradippodi Alwar dedicates both his works to Lord Ranganatha, adorning him with Poomalai (garland of flowers) and Paamalai (garland of poems), like Perialwar.   He sings in praise of Naama Sankeertanam in his Thirumalai.  The 10 verses of Amalanaadipiram makes ThiruppAnazhwar one among the Alwars;  Swami Desikan  pens Muni Vahana Bhogam, in his praise. Kanninunsiruthambu of Madhurakavi Alwar shows that  acharya bhakti is the key to reaching Him.
