On the 1st of November Rathothsavam was held at Sri Balaji Mandir, Mumbai. It is located in Gokula Kshetram or Gograswadi in Dombivli (East), a distant suburb of Mumbai, between Thane and Kalyan Stations of Central Railway. .The Mandir was established in 1983 under the auspices of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam. The presiding deity Sri Balaji virtually is a replica of Sri Venkateswara in Tirumala-Tirupathi – so the devotees visiting the shrine experience with immense satisfaction. Devotees from all walks of life in and around Dombivli and Mumbai participate with great enthusiasm in the activities of the Mandir.
